About
Lana Morisoli
This last year I have taken my three passions in life, design, travel and food, and turned it into a year long journey around the world. I have logged 25,000 miles on my car, 13 plane rides, 5 countries and 36 states. I have ate fried okra from a drive up window in Arkansas and cracked my own crab in Maryland. Never did I think that such a negative event in my life, like being laid off, could turn into a life changing experience. From a little idea of road tripping across the country to recharge my creative spirit, I have been given the opportunity to share design inspiration from across the world and to share stories of amazing generosity.
Before I packed up my teal luggage and loaded up my car with my sewing machine, I was working in the design industry in Southern California for 5 years. My experiences ranged from staging multi-million dollar homes to flying across the country to install model homes. No project has been too big or too small. Be it picking out paint colors or working hand in hand with an architect building a custom home. One of the most rewarding aspects of design, is the relationships that you create. I will start out doing someone’s wedding, then help them set-up their new home and then change that office into a nursery. Through design, I get to touch the milestones in peoples lives and it is so fulfilling.
Now, I put my frequent flier miles to rest and have found a home in Seattle. My traveling hasn’t stopped but just slowed down to a manageable speed, so I can focus on helping my design clients and bringing you amazing design content. So often we walk through life without really seeing what is around us and I hope that through this blog people will start to see how inspiring your surroundings can be. Also I want to share the undiscovered hideaway or the far off place that most people won’t get to.
I am available for design services and event services in the Greater Seattle area and Southern California. Additionally, I am able to help clients virtually with their home improvements.
Please contact me for any design inquires or questions.
